FAQ
Find the answers hereCirc is new. Our BioTransformer is new. It is therefore very normal that we get a lot of questions. We have collected the most common questions for you. Is your question not included? Feel free to contact us, we are happy to help you.
Input
Frequently asked questions about what and how to feed the BioTransformer
-
You can put vegetables, fruit, and food leftovers in the transformer. We have some limitations regarding acidity (so don't just solely citrus peel) and thad objects (thick bones). In general, we think like this: if a human could eat it, so can our installation.
-
It works best to fill several times a day, a clear schedule and some dedication are important. Filling incidentally too much shouldn't be a problem. Our BioTransformer has an internal buffer and the installation consumes as much of it as necessary.

-
Yes, that's possible. For example, if you only put bread in the installation, Circ will optimize the fermentation process with the right bacteria. So it's no problem. Let us know what you want to feed and we'll be happy to help.

The BT50 is for 50kg, the BT200 is for 200kg, the BT400 is for 400kg and the BT600 is for 600kg bio raw material processing per day.If you want to process more, please contact us, so we can look at the possibilities

Artificial Intelligence (AI) knows what you feed the BioTransformer and links it to the most efficient fermentation program. It continuously optimizes the process of what goes into the BioTransformer and how much output the customer requires.
Output
Frequently asked questions about what and how the BioTransformer produces
-
No, we store the BioGas in a tank, so that you can use the BioGas when it is needed. Regular consumption of BioGas is necessary because the storage in the tank has a limit.
-
It depends on the equipment. Often it is plug-and-play. Occasionally we have to make a small adjustment to your equipment to make it suitable for sustainable BioGas. Our team is happy to find out what is needed.
-
The yield is directly related to the calorific (energy) value of your input. Different vegetables, fruit, or food leftovers have different energy values. We can calculate the optimal return for you.
-
Yes, only sustainable BioGas and nutrient-rich BioWater.
-
You can use it to enrich your soil.
-
Constant gas consumption is ideal. Delayed use is possible as long as you stay within reach of your buffer tank. If you produce more BioGas than you consume, converting BioGas into electricity might be an option. Our team will happily assist you.
Sustainability
Frequently asked sustainability questions about our BioTransformer.
-
No. The amount of CO2 released into the air is the same CO2 that your banana or wheat took from the air to grow. It has only been in the food temporarily. We call this a short CO2 cycle.
-
BioWater is a natural source of nutrients that could reduce the use chemical fertilizers.
-
With a BioTransformer you replace local fossil natural gas with sustainable BioGas, reduce transport emissions and close local biomass circuits. Cost savings for you and a sustainable contribution to the environment and society.
The greater our collective positive impact, the more sustainable our immediate environment becomes and the more CO2 we save collectively.
-
The CO2 you save depends on the amount of BioGas you produce..
-
No, we do not use chemicals.
-
We see what the installation is fed with and by whom. Our algorithms are analyzing the use of pattern to predict input and output behavior. It's only a small step away from sharing this data with the customer to further help reduce food waste streams.
General
Frequently asked general questions about the BioTransformer.
-
No, BioGas cannot be supplied to the gas network.
-
Our BioWater can be filtered. But the laws on this subject differ from country to country. Circ aims to make its BioWater suitable as drinking water one day, but that is not the case now. At the moment you can't drink our BioWater.
-
This of course depends on your specific consumption and costs. To answer this question, we need to make a detailed business case for you. But overall, the R.O.I. is 2 to 5 years. If you are interested, please contact us, and we will gladly calculate it.
-
The BioTransformer is a very intuitive machine and the AI controls a lot. All you have to do is feed it, this must be done regularly and correctly.
-
Minimal. The BioTransformer uses some electricity and water and you need an internet connection.
-
All savings and revenues can be tracked in the Circ BioTransformer App, including your CO2 savings
Maintenance
Frequently asked maintenance questions about the BioTransformer.
-
Yes. Despite the fact that our installation requires little maintenance, we make clear agreements about this in advance. Our technical team, or the team of our partners, is always ready to perform maintenance for you. In addition to annual maintenance, we regularly perform new updates, which we install either digitally or in person.
-
The BioTransformer must always remain on, only in an emergency it can be turned off by using the red button.
-
Clean only with clean water and a soft brush. Follow our instructions and never use cleaning products (not even organic). Rinse the hatch occasionally with clean water, the machine does the rest.
-
As long as you shield the BioTransformer from the elements under a roof, in a container, or in other indoor spaces, it can in principle be placed anywhere.
-
Yes, in most cases the machine can continue to transform swill into BioGas and BioWater while we are working on it. Its modularity allows us to work as efficiently as possible.
-
No, the BioTransformer is completely odorless. However, it is important to maintain a clean environment. The BioWater can give a slightly organic odor if the IBC is not properly closed.
